Recognition for the Institute of Physics

The Institute of Physics has been nominated for a number of prestigious awards.

The new headquarters for the Institute of Physics (IOP) is a highly sustainable building which acts as a ‘living lab’ to showcase physics and innovative technology. The building is designed to house the IOP’s membership activities, support its ambition to engage different communities, and make physics more accessible to a wider audience.

It is a finalist for the British Construction Industry Awards and Civic Trust Awards 2020. Recognition by both awarding bodies is a great achievement, as they acknowledge the IOP’s outstanding architecture, planning and design in the built environment.

The IOP was also shortlisted for a Concrete Society Award.
